Ford has pulled the wraps off the refreshed Mustang Mach-E, and the headline changes are exactly where buyers have been asking for them: a larger 91kWh battery option pushing range past 490km, a redesigned interior built around a new 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen, and a mild styling refresh that leans harder into the Mustang family's design language.

What's Changed

The extended-range GT variant now claims a WLTP figure of 491km, up from 490 in the outgoing model's Extended Range trim — a modest gain that Ford attributes largely to software efficiency improvements rather than battery chemistry changes. More noticeable is the new interior, which swaps the outgoing model's tablet-style screen for a redesigned dashboard with a return of physical climate controls, addressing one of the most common criticisms of the outgoing car.

Ford says the changes came directly from three years of owner feedback surveys.

Exterior changes are more subtle: a redesigned front fascia with slimmer running lights, new wheel designs up to 20 inches, and two new exterior colours.
